Each calendar year, credit ratings agencies publish a calendar setting the dates for the publication of sovereign rating decisions. In the second half of 2019, Finland’s sovereign rating will be published by Fitch Ratings and Moody’s Investors Service on 26 July and by S&P Global Ratings on 13 September.
The State Treasury will, as a general rule, publish the decisions and possible reports of the rating agencies on a Monday following the rating decision.
Credit rating agencies are required to publish sovereign ratings and related ratings outlooks on a Friday after the close of business of the trading venues established in the European Union. Thus, the credit rating decisions are usually published late on a Friday night Finnish time.
