Fitch Ratings affirmed Finland’s credit rating at ‘AA+’, revised outlook to negative

The credit rating agency Fitch Ratings affirmed Finland’s long-term sovereign credit rating at ‘AA+’ on 9 August 2024. At the same time, Fitch revised the outlook on the rating from stable to negative.

The last time Fitch changed the outlook on Finland’s rating was in January 2020. At that time, Fitch affirmed Finland’s credit rating at ‘AA+’ and revised the outlook from positive to stable.
